Hey, I'm Sarah
I'm a country-life story teller, a horse girl at heart, and the woman behind Redemption Ridge Photography. I don't believe in stiff poses or forced smiles--I capture real life as it unfolds, whether that's muddy boots, the wind blowing through your hair, kids being wild, horses being horses, or the quiet, beautiful moments in between.
My sessions are relaxed, natural, and guided just enough to let genuine connection shine through. Whether we're wandering through a field, chasing golden light, or letting your kids explore, my goal is simple--to preserve your memories exactly as they feel.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Come relaxed and comfortable. Don't be shy, and don't be afraid to request poses or shy ideas! Communicate what you're envisioning to your photographer when you book! My priority is to help you get what's in your head into the frame!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel fees are not included in the package pricing. Your photographer will discuss any travel fees with you at booking. Not all sessions will require a travel fee.
How long does it take to get our photos?
The typical turnaround is 3-4 weeks, depending on the amount of photos that are taken or expected.
Can you recommend any good locations?
I always recommend somewhere familiar or quiet. Some of my favorite spots include Spring Valley Farm in Moneta, Smith Mountain Lake State park, your barn or your home!
